Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last Updated: 18 September 2026
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all passes purchased for SWAN Academy ("the Event") through this Site.
1. Cancellation by the attendee
All pass bookings are final and non-refundable once payment has been successfully completed. No refund will be provided where you are unable or unwilling to attend the Event, including due to a change of plans, personal circumstances, travel difficulties, illness, failure to attend, or any other reason on your part. No refund request based solely on non-attendance or change of circumstances will be accepted.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts any refund, remedy, or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
2. Transfer of pass
Passes are personal to the registered attendee and are non-transferable, unless we expressly permit a transfer in writing. A pass cannot be sold, assigned, resold, or transferred to another person without our prior written approval. We reserve the right to verify the identity of the pass holder at the Event and to deny admission where the details of the person presenting the pass do not match the registration details.
3. Cancellation or postponement by us
If the Event is cancelled by us, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount actually paid for your pass. If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, we will notify registered attendees of the revised date and applicable arrangements. Where we offer a refund in connection with a postponement, eligible attendees will be entitled to it in accordance with the instructions we communicate.
4. Event changes
We reserve the right, where reasonably necessary, to modify the programme, speakers, sessions, timings, venue arrangements, or other Event details. Changes to individual speakers, sessions, programme elements, or timings do not by themselves entitle you to a refund, provided the Event continues substantially as described. Where there is a material change to the Event, or the Event is not conducted as represented, we will address the matter in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the change.
5. Refund processing
Where a refund is approved under this Policy, it will be processed through Razorpay to the original payment method used for the transaction. Refunds are ordinarily initiated within 5–7 business days from confirmation of the refund, subject to the processing timelines of the relevant payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or other payment service provider. We are not responsible for delays caused solely by banks, payment gateways, card issuers, or other third-party financial institutions.
6. No-show
Failure to attend the Event, in whole or in part, is treated as a no-show and does not ordinarily entitle you to a refund, partial refund, credit, replacement pass, or compensation.
